This collection of ceramic vases is an attempt to bring graphic design into my art practice. The cones are inspired by dunes, and they are thrown and glazed in a way that reminds the viewer of the desert and natural shapes found in caves. They are only glazed on the inside, so there is a rough materiality on the outside, contrasting the smooth and icy inside.
